Comment For My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 Cinemar

Name : Scott Tobias / Alias : NPR
It's comforting to break bread in Vardalos' cheery Chicago enclave again, even if you're being served yesterday's dinner out of the microwave.

Name : Christy Lemire / Alias : RogerEbert.com
Gags get piled upon gags with relentless frenzy and results that are overbearing rather than uproarious. You can rely on every character to behave the exactly the same way every time, regardless of the situation, and that way is usually obnoxious.

Name : Tim Cogshell / Alias : TheWrap
It's sweet, just like the original movie. It was faint praise then, and it still is.

Name : Randy Cordova / Alias : Arizona Republic
The movie wheezes about, with actors offering spit takes (Vardalos) and getting hit in the head with volleyballs (Vardalos again). When those moments don't elicit laughs, you are left with awkward silences that just hang in the air. That happens a lot .

Name : Mick LaSalle / Alias : San Francisco Chronicle
In truth, "My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2" is an excruciating grind, just scene after scene of people creating disturbance over tiny matters, fighting over nothing, and making Toula clean up after them.

Name : Rebecca Keegan / Alias : Los Angeles Times
The sequel is a little like a bear hug from a beloved old relative - the embrace is too tight, the perfume is too strong, but ultimately it still leaves you feeling good inside.

Name : Frank Scheck / Alias : Hollywood Reporter
Vardalos and Corbett display the relaxed romantic chemistry that made them so endearing to audiences in the first film.

Name : Devan Coggan / Alias : Entertainment Weekly
A tired and unnecessary retread that not even a healthy spritz of Windex can cure.

Name : Stephanie Merry / Alias : Washington Post
With so many warmed-over jokes, you'd think that the delivery would at least be on point. But everything, including the timing, feels off.

Name : Tirdad Derakhshani / Alias : Philadelphia Inquirer
Predictable, tired, formulaic, it makes up for its lack of originality with a bigger budget, louder jokes, louder costumes, and louder music.

Name : Tom Russo / Alias : Boston Globe
Some elements are even broader while a couple, welcomely, are emotionally truer to life. If you appreciated the first movie's sweetness, then you'll likely be charmed enough.

Name : Leah Pickett / Alias : Chicago Reader
This unnecessary sequel reunites most of the cast from the 2002 indie sensation and then lazily recycles its narrative, score, themes, catchphrases, and sight gags almost beat for beat.

Name : Joe Dziemianowicz / Alias : New York Daily News
"My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2" is like baklava. It's light, sweet and nutty. But after indulging you might ask yourself, "Did I really need that?"

Name : Geoff Berkshire / Alias : Variety
This 14-years-later sequel is every bit as sitcom-ish and saccharine as its predecessor, but considerably less distinctive.

Name : Jesse Hassenger / Alias : AV Club
Jones has limited ideas about funny staging. His go-to move is mashing two to 10 people together into an awkward scrum, then cutting to Vardalos or Paris watching with wide-eyed discomfort.

Name : Adam Graham / Alias : Detroit News
It's a big fat Greek dud.

Name : David Ehrlich / Alias : Slate
I'm sure there are knowing smiles of recognition that are reserved here for people raised in traditional Greek families, but it's hard to feel like you're missing any of the jokes when every punch line is practically written out on cue cards.

Name : Colin Covert / Alias : Minneapolis Star Tribune
It shows us a world where every family problem can be fixed by hugging or buttering garlic bread. There's certainly an audience for that. All others, be warned.

Name : Liz Braun / Alias : Toronto Sun
The movie has Andrea Martin, who returns as bossy Aunt Voula, sometimes dispensing her gonzo brand of sexual advice and sometimes confiding her list of bizarre medical curiosities. She alone may be worth the price of admission.

Name : Mara Reinstein / Alias : Us Weekly
All the plots are blah sitcom material, at best - and there's a reason why Vardalos' CBS spinoff, My Big Fat Greek Life, lasted all of seven episodes back in 2003.

Name : Jeannette Catsoulis / Alias : New York Times
Even those who have spent the last 14 years pining for a sequel to "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" - by most accounts, the highest-grossing American romantic comedy - will rue that longing when they experience "My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2."

Name : Kate Lloyd / Alias : Time Out
Feels like you're watching an entire season of Modern Family in fast-forward

Name : Rafer Guzman / Alias : Newsday
Old jokes and little plot, but the charming original cast almost compensates.

Name : Sara Stewart / Alias : New York Post
It's understandable that creator/writer Nia Vardalos would come back for seconds with "My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2" . but 14 years later, this reunion of cuddly-but-tiresome stereotypes makes you wish she'd left well enough alone.

Name : Kate Taylor / Alias : Globe and Mail
Pass the baklava.

Name : James Berardinelli / Alias : ReelViews
What we're left with is something that recalls Crocodile Dundee in L.A. - the misbegotten notion that bringing back characters long past their sell-by date is a good idea.

Name : Bilge Ebiri / Alias : Village Voice
It's a nice movie. Not a good one, or a well-made one, or a smart one, but a nice one.

Name : Peter Travers / Alias : Rolling Stone
What once bubbled up from a sincere love of Greek family has now congealed into the all-too-familiar Hollywood tale of milking a cash cow until it cries for mercy.

Name : Richard Roeper / Alias : Chicago Sun-Times
Vardalos is wonderful, and 88-year-old Michael Constantine casually pockets every scene he's in.

Name : Stephen Whitty / Alias : Newark Star-Ledger
How about we push back from the table and go home? This may be Vardalos' all-you-can-eat Greek buffet, but you know what? This really is all I can eat.

Name : Peter Howell / Alias : Toronto Star
Those who loved the original should at least like the sequel, which remarkably has reunited all of the players from the oversized cast.

Name : Moira MacDonald / Alias : Seattle Times
Vardalos has created a community of characters and players so likable, it seems almost mean to criticize - like picking on one's own annoying but beloved relatives.

Comment For Gold Full Movies New 2016

Name : Roger Moore / Alias : Orlando Sentinel
The whole enterprise collapses from exhaustion about two-thirds of the way through. Still, a staggering number of the gags that Myers and Co. fling against the screen stick.

Name : Peter Travers / Alias : Rolling Stone
All praise to Michael Caine, who plays Austin's studly spy daddy, Nigel, and to Beyonce Knowles, who turns on Pam Grier sass as agent Foxxy Cleopatra. But hit-and-miss skits trying to pass as a coherent time-traveling plot reduce them to bystanders.

Name : Steven Rosen / Alias : Denver Post
With so many impersonations to keep track off, director Jay Roach winds up moving between Myers and Myers so often that the editing feels like a crude cut-and-paste job.

Name : Glenn Lovell / Alias : San Jose Mercury News
A 14-carat stinker, delivered with little sense of fun and less inspiration.

Name : Lisa Schwarzbaum / Alias : Entertainment Weekly
Mike Myers and Austin Powers may stick to their old Beatle boots, but they've both come a long way, luvvy.

Name : Bill Muller / Alias : Arizona Republic
The result plays like a series of skits, but the gags are so funny that it works anyway.

Name : Clarence Tsui / Alias : Hollywood Reporter
Golden Kingdom's theological backbone is fleshed out by a warm and endearing portrayal of its characters' childhood innocence.

Name : Richard Roeper / Alias : Ebert & Roeper
I think this is the funniest of the three movies and I liked the first two.

Name : Jonathan Foreman / Alias : New York Post
Uneven, self-conscious but often hilarious spoof.

Name : Connie Ogle / Alias : Miami Herald
The Austin Powers films have never, ever been anything approaching high-brow, but the uneven Goldmember seems to take a big step toward the extremely juvenile, with more scatological and fewer sex jokes.

Name : Carrie Rickey / Alias : Philadelphia Inquirer
Despite the firecracker energy of Beyonce Knowles, on hand as Foxxy Cleopatra, a tribute to bootylicious blaxploitation babe Pam Grier, the film is almost a complete fizzle.

Name : Mark Olsen / Alias : L.A. Weekly
Myers' puppy-dog tenacity to that cast-iron tenet of low comedy, disarming and even somewhat charming in the first film, now has an air of careerist desperation about it.

Name : Eleanor Ringel Gillespie / Alias : Atlanta Journal-Constitution
The reason this picture works better than its predecessors is that Myers is no longer simply spoofing the mini-mod-madness of '60s spy movies.

Name : Geoff Pevere / Alias : Toronto Star
This is a movie that's trying in too many senses of the word.

Name : Michael Rechtshaffen / Alias : Los Angeles Times
At its most absorbing, Lasseter's story plays like an Aussie Treasure of the Sierra Madre, in which the main subject is a bit of a cypher whose true nature proves to be as difficult to pinpoint as that elusive gold.

Name : Charles Taylor / Alias : Salon.com
Structurally and formally, Goldmember is a mess. What saves it is that Myers possesses in spades the thing that's crucial for comedy: an absolute lack of embarrassment and the willingness to go with his gut instinct.

Name : Paul Clinton (CNN.com) / Alias : CNN.com
It's amusing, but you may find that you're over it.

Name : Stephen Hunter / Alias : Washington Post
The level of inventiveness remains high.

Name : John Anderson / Alias : Newsday
Goldmember is funny enough to justify the embarrassment of bringing a barf bag to the moviehouse.

Name : Desson Thomson / Alias : Washington Post
One-ups the Austin Powers sequel that came before it.

Name : Jeff Strickler / Alias : Minneapolis Star Tribune
The third installment in the series of super-spy spoofs, it's handcuffed by the ever-increasing load of baggage it carries.

Name : Stephen Holden / Alias : New York Times
When a movie is as down-and-out funny as Austin Powers in Goldmember, it's easy to overlook the missed opportunities and fizzled jokes littering the barrage of hilarity.

Name : Mick LaSalle / Alias : San Francisco Chronicle
Goldmember delivers.

Name : Roger Ebert / Alias : Chicago Sun-Times
The movie is a little tired; maybe the original inspiration has run its course.

Name : Moira MacDonald / Alias : Seattle Times
Not much else in this third Austin Powers sequel is new or memorable.

Name : Terry Lawson / Alias : Detroit Free Press
The '60s satire that made the first movie such a hip trip is now just so much polka-dotted wallpaper; the jokes are now almost exclusively confined to orifices and excretions.

Name : Tom Maurstad / Alias : Dallas Morning News
Watching Austin Powers in Goldmember is like binging on cotton candy. It's sweet and fluffy at the time, but it may leave you feeling a little sticky and unsatisfied.

Name : David Edelstein / Alias : Slate
It's an ode to indecent joy.

Name : Susan Stark / Alias : Detroit News
Austin and Dr. Evil remain the most inventively detailed characters played by the franchise's star, guiding light and principal beneficiary. He's cheerful and energetic as ever.

Name : Andrew Sarris / Alias : New York Observer
It's all amateur-night vaudeville and movies within movies that degenerate into total inanity.

Name : Dennis Lim / Alias : Village Voice
Star/writer Mike Myers and director Jay Roach struggle visibly with exhausted possibilities and diminishing returns.

Name : Ken Jaworowski / Alias : New York Times
Approaching the story for the traditional trappings - narrative, action, even logic - is to ensure disappointment. But look to it for beauty and lyricism, and you may find a deeper satisfaction.

Name : Liam Lacey / Alias : Globe and Mail
Even if the gag-to-wince ratio isn't high, there are enough punchlines thrown here to make a sphinx smirk.

Name : Todd McCarthy / Alias : Variety
The laughs are here, to be sure, although even some of the best of them are retreads and the Swinging '60s recycling act is now feeling a bit past its zeitgeist prime.

Name : Craig D. Lindsey / Alias : Village Voice
The movie meanders (Perkins seems as distractingly lost as Frost), but it can stir real sympathy.

Name : James Berardinelli / Alias : ReelViews
Qualities that were once amusing are becoming irritating.

Name : Neil Young / Alias : Hollywood Reporter
Sometimes all a documentary needs is one strong, charismatic personality to keep things watchable: Garnet's Gold boasts two in the form of the middle-aged eponymous protagonist and his feisty octogenarian mother.

Name : Ty Burr / Alias : Boston Globe
The most consistently funny of the Austin Powers films.

Name : Kenneth Turan / Alias : Los Angeles Times
Myers' idea of a movie turns out to be similar to Ed Sullivan's idea for a variety show: Toss in a little bit of everything and hope for the best.

Name : Michael Wilmington / Alias : Chicago Tribune
A shapeless, derivative-but-funny show.

Name : Kirk Honeycutt / Alias : Hollywood Reporter
The misses outweigh the hits by a wide margin.

Name : Eric Harrison / Alias : Houston Chronicle
Austin Powers in Goldmember is a cinematic car wreck, a catastrophic collision of tastelessness and gall that nevertheless will leave fans clamoring for another ride.

Name : Mike Clark / Alias : USA Today
The Powers team has fashioned a comedy with more laughs than many, no question. But this time there's some mold on the gold.

Name : Guy Lodge / Alias : Variety
An impressively disciplined, occasionally transporting debut feature from globe-trotting American helmer Brian Perkins.
